WELCOME back to our website.  It has been somewhat neglected for a long time but I sincerely hope we are ‘open for business’ again

Many things have changed since the emergence and growth of the Bournemouth Air Festival but we can be justly proud of all the BRAA did to maintain the valued connection between the town and the Red Arrows The changes do not mean that our contacts have been lost – on the contrary they are as strong as ever evidenced, not least, by the hugely successful BBQ we enjoyed with the Team on 19^th August.

Sadly, the tragic events leading to the death of Red 4, Fl Lt Jon Egging, shook us all to the core. Jon was a ‘top drawer’ man and he will be sadly missed by his wife, family, colleagues and friends. I am proud to confirm BRAA will be strongly represented at the Memorial Service which will take place at Lincoln Cathedral on 31^st October. You may know already that we launched a collection in Jon’s memory and to date it has raised more than £2500.

That will grow when the sale of a painting (featured in the Bournemouth Echo on 13th October) is completed.
